I have had the honor of serving as Executive Director for 40 West Arts for almost a decade. During that time, we have prioritized community, in-person connection, and engagement in everything we do. Here are some of the things our team accomplished together.

• Fundraising over $800,000 for the renovation of The HUB Building, a historic structure that sat vacant for over 25 years and is now home to 40 West Arts and six other local creative businesses

• Bringing CHAC (Chicano Humanities Arts Council) to the district

• Bringing Prismajic (an immersive arts space) to the district

• Hosting over 150 arts-events annually, completely free to the community

• Partnering with Metro West Housing Solutions, Lakewood’s leading provider of affordable housing, on two large scale sculptures and over 50 free arts workshops, hosted on-site

• Giving gallery space free of charge to groups as wide-ranging as the Women’s Caucus for the Arts and Colorado Homeless Network

• Acting as a true community hub where anyone from any background is welcome
